The services that we provide for managing employee benefits for our accounts have been designed to accomplish two primary objectives: reduce costs, and streamline the responsibilities required of the account. Our professional service staff is able to assume many of the duties required in the day-to-day management of employee benefits - it is almost like having an additional department but without the overhead!

All services are performed in-house by the PBS staff. This allows us to provide a faster response time to our clients, and ensures the accuracy of the work being provided. Allowing outside vendors to perform these functions increases the probability that important functions may be mishandled.

PBS is typically compensated by the insurance carriers providing the coverage for the account. The compensation PBS receives is based on the standard commission levels for each carrier. In return for receiving the commissions, PBS typically provides all of the services indicated as "Standard" for no additional charge. Variations to our standard compensation arrangement are available based on the specifics for each account.

* Our online enrollment system is based on a charge of $.50 per covered employee per month. For this fee, the Employer or the employee may enter the employee's enrollment elections and personal information. Employee benefit elections, premiums and deduction amounts would be able to be viewed at anytime by the employee or employer. Based on the benefits being administered, number of employees and other factors these fees may be waived.

** Our teleconferencing capabilities offer a unique opportunity to keep the communication and enrollment of the benefits on a personal basis, while utilizing technology that simplifies and speeds up the process. The costs for this will vary depending on the actual situation for the employer. In many cases, these fees may be waived, depending on the circumstances of the account.
